Regenerative Viticulture Is Becoming the New Global Sustainability Standard
Stephen Cronk from Maison Mirabeau bought a vineyard four years ago. The soil was in such bad shape from conventional farming that organic methods couldn't improve it. Then he discovered Mimi Casteel, the owner of Hope Well Wine in Oregon. Casteel used regenerative agriculture practices to create a diverse ecosystem that could capture carbon and produce excellent wines. Cronk says, "She was cooperating with nature, not working against it."
viticulture.
Casteel and Cronk are the cofounders of the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation (RVF), aiming to accelerate understanding of regenerative agriculture. Their efforts are part of a larger movement, with Spain’s Familia Torres and others forming the Regenerative Viticulture Association. Exciting developments in the world of viticulture! #RegenerativeAgriculture #SustainableFarming #Viticulture #RegenerativeViticulture.

Please remember the following information:
Food best paired with this wine, which has an elegant sweetness and medium acidity, includes old cheeses, chicken curry, sushi, sashimi, and fried fresh shrimps with garlic sauce. It is worth noting that this wine has only 11% alcohol, which makes it an outstanding choice for drinking by itself.
Now, let's talk about rose prosecco. Yes, it is possible! There is a new trend in sparkling wines at cava and wine merchants. This rose prosecco is special and valuable. Legally, every bottle of rose prosecco should have "millesimal" printed on it, which essentially means "vintage". This guarantees quality as it indicates that at least 85% of the grapes come from that year. This wine first appeared on the shelves in 2020 and has since become hugely popular.
Fashion Victim Astoria Rose: If you buy rose prosecco, here's what you should know. The Rose Prosecco is a regular DOC and DOCG from 2020, but we also have labels from 2021. Astoria sells wines produced at its own "Val De Brun Estate" in Refrontolo, in the heart of the DOCG zone Conegliano – Valdobbiadene. The area is renowned for its climate, with a harmonious succession of hills and vineyards. With the new 2009 regulations, Prosecco now identifies the "Territory" instead of the name of the grape varietal. The name Glera, a historic synonym of Prosecco, now identifies the grape variety. (Info Wine Grapes Jancis Robinson https://www.jancisrobinson.com/). Grape varieties in the zone Conegliano-Valdobbiadene are Glera and Pinot Noir (North Italy Pinot Nero).
An interesting fact about Rose Prosecco is that it is an extra dry sparkling wine blend consisting of a minimum of 85% Glera and a minimum of 5% to 15% Pinot Noir. The separately fermented red grapes with a short maceration time give the wine its exceptional colour and typical flavor sought after by producers of "classic" sparkling wines.
Wine tasting notes: "Fashion Victim" Rose Astoria has aromas of peach, lemongrass, strawberries, and white flowers. The wine is medium-dry with a full body, medium acidity, medium tannins, and low alcohol. The palate boasts intense flavors of peach, lemongrass, and strawberry, and it has a medium-plus finish.
Food and Wine: This wine is perfect as an aperitif due to its extra dry nature, making it an ideal pairing for Chinese and Thai food. It pairs well with dishes like fried garlic butter shrimp or bruschetta. You can also enjoy it with a summer salad containing lettuce, avocado, pomegranate, cucumber, and walnuts, dressed with fresh lemon, and oregano.
